Led by two highly skilled artist-facilitators, participants will embark on a creative journey, exploring the depths of these fundamental aspects of the human experience. This workshop will take place at the esteemed Shoalhaven Regional Gallery in Nowra, offering a serene and inspiring environment for self-reflection. The session will incorporate various artistic techniques, including breath work, body movement, cloth manipulation, stitching, and engaging conversations. All materials and equipment needed for the workshop will be provided, including a variety of cloth pieces in different sizes. Should attendees wish to create a full-size shroud for themselves or a loved one, they are kindly asked to bring a 100% cotton or linen bed sheet. The workshop offers a remarkable opportunity to take home everything you create during the session. To ensure a comfortable experience, tea and coffee will be available, and attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch and water bottle. The artist-facilitators, Natalie McDonagh and Annette Tesoriero, bring a wealth of expertise to the workshop, with backgrounds in visual arts, performing arts, psychology, and experiential learning.
