ROB HARRIS BIO
Nashville-based singer-songwriter, Rob Harris, crafts songs that feel like home — stories of life, love, and laughter that are relatable and unforgettably genuine.
His journey has taken him from opening for Grammy® and Dove Award-winning artists to sharing the stage with Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and KISS legend, Ace Frehley. His creative touch shines in his acoustic waltz arrangement of "Free Bird," featured on the debut album of ACM Award-winning duo Joey+Rory.
His songwriting credits include co-writing two Top-10 singles and earning a Gold Record for "Greasy John Deere Cap" on Tim Hicks’ album "Throw Down". His songs have been recorded by The Lovelocks, Ivan Parker, Karen Peck, Marcia Ramirez and a variety of indie artists. Garth Brooks once praised Rob’s “How to Bend,” calling it “a beautiful sentiment, a timeless message and a great song.”
Rob also has over forty years' experience leading worship at churches, conferences and events around the country.
Locally, he is a frequent performer at Puckett’s Grocery and the world famous, Bluebird Café.
Beyond music, Rob is also an actor represented by The Hurd Agency Nashville. His on-screen work includes “Holland” (Nicole Kidman, Matthew Mcfadyen), “A Nashville Country Christmas” (Tanya Tucker, Keith Carradine) and “Someone Like You” by Karen Kingsbury. He’s appeared in national commercials for well-known brands including Visa, ESPN College GameDay and Enterprise along with roles in the popular crime shows Snapped and Fatal Attraction. You can even spot him in music videos for James Arthur (“Just Us”), Sam Hunt (“Locked Up”), and Hardy (“Psycho”, where he plays Hardy’s father-in-law).
His latest album, Hourglass (2023, produced by Mike Waldron), is available on all streaming platforms.
