We are delighted to welcome Ken Scott back to Vinylsessions (can you believe it was June 2018 last time for Ziggy?), as Supertramp’s 3rd studio album celebrates 50 years since release in 1974 it seems appropriate to feature with our October event. Graham Chalmers will co-host with a few questions then Ken will share with us stories from the production to release of this classic. Then we have vinyl playback in full on a superb Hi-fi setup with Colin, from the CPVA collection, along with the opportunity for any Q&As afterwards. As always, every penny raised goes to the Harrogate Hospital Community Charity and we will have our usual raffle plus auction of the album on vinyl signed by Ken plus a wonderful hamper provided by our sponsor Ringtons Teas. Our audio menu features our reference Technics SL1210 with HANA SH moving coil cartridge, Marantz PM7005 and Wharfedale’s new Linton Heritage speakers. This promises to be an rare and amazing evening and a real insight into the album and artist.
