This moderate-grade walk unfolds on woodland footpaths and roads, featuring ascents, descents, steps, and some steep terrain. Furry companions are welcome, and Linda Birtwhistle leads the way. Join the Walk 9 The Ironmen Way 20 miles event in Ironbridge, celebrating the local Ironmen and Severn Gilders Morris Group's 40-year legacy. The route includes key locations that inspired them, starting at the iconic Iron Bridge and moving through various Morris dance-named places like Jackfield Church, Broseley Church, Benthall Hall, and Much Wenlock Church. This strenuous walk covers a brisk pace across a mix of off-road footpaths and roads, with steps and stiles along the way. Participants should come prepared with at least 2 liters of water, snacks, and lunch, as there will be limited opportunities to purchase supplies.
