This prestigious storytelling competition is perfect for individuals who possess a natural flair for storytelling. The Village Books Storytelling Competition is a monthly event, with the winners from January through March earning the opportunity to compete at The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival. The ultimate goal is to be crowned as The Woodlands' Official Story Weaver. The final competition is scheduled for December 2024, where the victor will earn the esteemed title of the official Story Weaver of The Woodlands. Participants must be prepared to enthrall the audience with their stories, as reading from a script is strictly prohibited. Additionally, each storyteller will have a maximum of 5 minutes to captivate the crowd with their words.
