Escape the dreary weather and join us for a day of Chinese Brush Painting. Whether you are a beginner, or a more experienced painter, you will enjoy this Day Workshop with Shuhua. He'll show us how to paint birds in bamboo, and in other poses amongst attractive foliage. Shuhua is particularly adept at showing how to load a brush in many colours at the same time in order to achievd the spontaneity we all seek in Chinese Brush Paintimg. He usually brings a selection of brushes and paper to replenish your stock of materials. You will need your usual ink, brushes and colour. If you're a beginner we can loan supplies if you let us know in advance. We'll provide free tea, coffee and biscuits all day, but bring along a packed lunch. Ample free parking available too. Immerse yourself in the healing vibrations of sacred instruments such as the chau and wind gongs, quartz crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, ocean drum, rain stick, and native flute. These instruments have been used for millennia to foster profound physical and emotional healing. Simply lie comfortably and allow the sound vibrations to envelop your physical and energetic body. Our body, mind, and spirit retain the energetic imprints of all our experiences, so each sound bath offers a unique and personal journey, eliciting different sensations and emotions for everyone. Coach JJ and Coach Tico would like to invite you to a unique training opportunity. They are hosting camp at Bethel University this summer for top high school players and teams! About this Event Dear College Bound Player, Coach JJ and Coach Tico would like to invite you to a unique training opportunity. They are hosting an elite training camp at the Bethel University campus in McKenzie, TN, from July 13th-16th, 2025. The training camp will be open to teams and individuals who play boys high school soccer and club level soccer, ages 13-18. This summer camp is highly beneficial, as it prepares players for the upcoming fall season, college play and ODP events. Players will be challenged in every facet of player development; quality demonstration, expert field sessions, cutting edge lectures, and 11v11 competitions. Participants will be taught to analyze various systems of play and learn some of the "intangible" factors that can make the player and their team more competitive. During this four day, three night camp, players will attend two training sessions daily, participate in classroom sessions, and play in 11 v 11 games. The coaching staff will be comprised of college coaches from across the country. These coaches have been selected based on their expertise, knowledge of and passion for the game. Current and former Bethel University Wildcat players will serve as assistant coaches, group leaders and mentors. The registration fee of $330 includes room, meals, and an evaluation form at the end of camp.
