This unique event, titled "Painting Preludes: Juliette Morrison leads a workshop for teenagers," offers young people between the ages of 13-18 an opportunity to explore the intersection of music and visual art.
During the workshop, attendees will have the chance to immerse themselves in the world of French composer Claude Debussy by listening to his intricate and evocative Preludes. Through this multi-sensory experience, participants will not only deepen their appreciation for both music and visual art but also tap into their own emotional responses and translate them into visual expressions.
Juliette Morrison, an emerging artist and recent graduate of both NCAD and LSAD, will guide participants through a practical drawing and painting session, providing insights into her own artistic journey from a teenage art enthusiast to a London-based artist. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to view Juliette's micro exhibition at the gallery and gain further insight into her ideas and creative process.
