Join Gill for a Sewing Day Escape This is an in-person sewing day, where all are welcome. It's a great opportunity to escape and take some time out, to sew and immerse yourself in creativity, to meet other people and to have some fun, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Drinks are included and there's the option of booking lunch. All you need to bring is yourself, your sewing machine, sewing kit and your project (including any fabric and supplies needed), and your lunch if you aren't booking it through us. Arrival is from 10am for a day of social sewing, departure is at 4pm. What you need to bring: Your sewing project(s), including any patterns, fabric etc Sewing kit Sewing Machine (including power leads!) Your lunch, if you aren't booking it through us. Equipment available to use: Irons, ironing boards and other pressing tools Cutting mats (you will need to bering your own cutting tools) Overlocker (black or white thread available) Coverstitch machine (black or white thread available) Lunch: To make the most of your day escape, you can book your lunch through us. This will be provided by a local caterer and will be a cold lunch, when booking your place just add the lunch type to your basket, then you can just turn up on the day and your lunch will be provided. Alternatively you can bring your own packed lunch with you. Please note: You will need to purchase a ticket for the Day Escape (a general admission ticket) and a lunch option (if you aren't bringing your own). Purchasing a lunch option without a general admission ticket will not give you access to the Day Escape. If you are bringing your own lunch then you only need to purchase a general admission ticket. This is an untutored event however I will be on hand to guide and help you with your sewing projects. Perfect for all skill levels and all types of sewing or yarn work. Course details: This road based course will start from Wickersley School, making its way through the streets of Wickersley towards Brampton, and turning around again, in a closed road circuit. Active Fusion is excited to announce the upcoming Carcroft Fusion Camp in May 2024 at Carcroft Primary School in Doncaster. The camp will run from May 28th to May 31st, offering a fun and active experience for children aged 5 to 11 years old. Please take note of the essential details: the camp will run from 9am to 3pm daily, with lunch not provided. Parents are required to pack a lunch, a refillable water bottle, and any additional snacks (excluding nuts) for their child. Limited FREE spots are available for those eligible for free school meals or financial assistance, thanks to the Freemasonry and Lieutenancies Partnership Fund.
