ISC Turkey Trot Fundraiser Join us for the Iwakuni Spouse Club's 3rd annual Turkey Trot, a fun run 5K for all ages and abilities! Whether you're a seasoned runner, stroller warrior, or just looking to have a good time, this event is the perfect way to start your Turkey day! For the ELITE trotters, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals will be awarded! Don't forget to dress up in your best Thanksgiving-themed attire, you may win a prize!! All proceeds go to community grants and scholarships, benefitting students and spouses aboard MCAS Iwakuni. Your support is invaluable! Open to all base personnel. ID checks will be required, so please bring your government ID/PMO issued pass with you. You will not be allowed to access the flightline without your government ID. There is no photography on the flightline. Access to the flightline will be at the gate next to the AMC terminal. This will be the entry and exit point to the run. There is a parking garage conveniently located across the street. Check in at the gate will begin at 8:00 am and end at 8:30 am. The Turkey Trot will take off at 9 am. We are excited to invite you to join us for the upcoming Spouse Warrior Day event! Open to all spouses of MAG-12, H&HS, and all Marine Corps spouses stationed at MCAS Iwakuni, this engaging day is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13th, from 0800 to 1430. Participants will have the chance to gain insight into the Marine experience with activities such as the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP), Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainer (ISMT), and Obstacle Course challenges. The event will kick off at 0800 in the MAG-12 Auditorium, Building 6000. Throughout the day, participants will be transported to various units to participate in planned activities, with lunch provided at MWSS-171. We encourage you to wear your spouse’s cammies or comfortable, activity-ready clothing for this hands-on experience. The event will conclude back at the MAG-12 Auditorium at 1430. For your convenience, parking is available in the garage across from the AMC terminal. Join Intramural Sports for the Aces Down, Sets Up Volleyball Tournament on NOV 16 at the IronWorks North Sports Courts!
