20 November, 3 – 4.30pm Helen Anahita Wilson presents Jugalbandi, cathartic storytelling through rhythm. · Open to women and gender minority people aged 18+ · All equipment will be provided · https://www.helenanahitawilson.com/ Join Helen Anahita Wilson to take part in a percussion led workshop that combines ideas and concepts taken from psychoanalysis, sociology, and South Asian musics. Using a Jugalbandi drumming technique, participants will be shown how to express their stories and experiences of care. Jugalbandi drumming technique makes the inaudible psychology of relationships audible and our often-un-sayable feelings playable. This is a great opportunity to take part in a unique workshop experience.
