The 2nd Annual Row for Recovery event will feature teams of 6 participating in a marathon row to support The Barbell Saves Project, a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization offering group fitness and yoga for individuals in recovery from substance use. Taking place in Phoenix at 2806 West Cactus Road on June 22, 2024, participants can choose between On-Site or Virtual options. Each team member will receive a Row for Recovery T-Shirt, and raffle tickets are available for purchase on-site for a chance to win a Concept 2 Rower. Prizes include The Barbell Saves Wooden Oar for the top 3 teams, as well as gift cards to Cactus Fitness Equipment and Giant Fitness Equipment. Additionally, there will be on-site vendors such as Scheming Cookie, Nocco, a Masseuse, Chiropractor, and DJ. For those opting for the Virtual option, a Zoom link will be provided. Participants can also create a donation campaign to raise funds, with incentives such as extra raffle tickets and a special prize for the team with the highest donation amount.
