Whether you're a first-time user of crampons and ice axes or looking for a skills refresher, this course is suitable for you. Over the course of three days, you'll learn and practice movement on ice and snow, including crampon and ice axe techniques. You'll also learn how to read avalanche hazard reports and plan accordingly, as well as navigate in low visibility and whiteout conditions. The course covers emergency procedures and shelter building, as well as dynamic risk assessment and group management.

The course will involve two days of journeys with ascent, so participants should be fit enough to walk for 6 hours with 600m of ascent on both days. Advice on winter kit, including clothing, packing, food, and drinks, will also be given. If you're unsure about committing to the full 3-day course, there are options for 1 and 2-day courses as well.

You can drive yourself or take the bus (check the bus time in advance). There are cafes and bars on the mountain for you to choose from. If you want to ski, there are skateboard rentals, and there are also supporting shops where you can choose your favorite clothing and accessories. The staff at the scenic spot are very nice and will do their best to help. An impressive travel destination!
