Aberdeen Fringe Festival is BACK. After a simply incredible start in 2023, aberdeen sees the fringe return celebrating entertainers, artists, musicians, performers etc from all over the northeast of Scotland, and welcomes entertainers from all over the world. We’re doing the same again, asking you to purchase a band that allows you entry to see the venues. We take 70% of these band sales and redistribute it amongst out acts. We’re also upping the amount of venues we have available and the amount of entertainment. 2025 will be our biggest ever year. With our focus on cementing the festival not only in the city but as a destination for acts from further afield. We expect to see well over 200 shows over the 3 days, as we’ve added friday evening in also. Thats a lot more for your band. We can’t wait to welcome you all again to what will be an amazing celebration of what we have on our doorstep as well as bringing entertainers from around the globe to our small part of the world. Once you’ve purchased a band you collect it on the day from our onsite box office. This allows you to travel around the venues at your leisure catching shows when ever you like, but remember when a show is full its full. So planning what show you want to see might be essential. We have the addition of a grand ballroom which will feature a full two days of family friendly shows, from magic, bubble shows, ventriliquisim to science. Children’s shows will run from 12noon til 7pm on saturday and sunday. Meaning there will plenty for the wee ones to see before it perhaps becomes a bit more manic. Children are deemed as 0 - 12. There is a ticket price for over 12s which is reduced but these children must be accompanied by an adult. You have so much to see, so much to do. You simply can not miss out on this incredible experience right here in our own city. 70% of all money generated will be divided equally between the slot times ensuring each performer receives the same as the others. Its fair and we love that we can give back to the artists that make our fringe a special one. The Aberdeen Highland Games is a popular one day event attracting between 8,000-12,000 people annually. The event features a variety of family friendly entertainment including traditional Scottish Highland Games competitions, pipe band championships and solo piping competitions, a small fun fair, family entertainment including stage performances and free children’s activities as well as various catering outlets and a beer tent. The dance competitions are open to dancers registered with a dance association as well as non-registered dancers. Please make sure that the competing person is the name on the ticket entry. All dancers who pre-enter for the dance events will receive a FREE competitor e-ticket. All competitors under 18 years will be allowed one adult (parent/guardian) to accompany them through the competitors entry gate, with their e-ticket. Pre entry to the dance competitions will close on Wednesday 4th June 2025. Please note only one ticket can be sent per email address, if you have more than one child taking part please complete a separate application using a different email for each competitor. On the day entries may be allowed subject to the Dance Conveners discretion. On the day entrants and anyone accompanying them are required to purchase a valid entry ticket (online or at the gate) to enter the Aberdeen Highland Games event site.
