Join Bold Fork Books at Dock5 in Union Market for An Evening with Dan Pelosi! W e'll have a conversation about the book, LET'S PARTY, and a signing line and photo op with Dan. A ll tickets include one SIGNED COPY of LET'S PARTY. DUE TO DEMAND AND CAPACITY WE WILL NOT BE ISSUING REFUNDS FOR THIS EVENT ABOUT LET'S PARTY Dan Pelosi believes every day can be a celebration—and wherever there’s a celebration, there’s a menu waiting to be planned. In his second cookbook, the New York Times bestselling author dishes out more than 100 of his larger-than-life recipes, organized into sixteen distinct dinner parties designed to take the guesswork out of what to serve when and what goes with what. Some celebrations are familiar, like Giving Thanks (but—surprise!— we’re having roast chicken), and others prove any time calls for entertaining: Breakfast for Dinner makes your pajamas party-worthy with RAISIN WALNUT BAKED FRENCH TOAST (which you can assemble ahead of time). The menus and recipes will carry you through every season of life, and of the year, too: When the sun comes out, lay out by the pool with BEANY BIKINI DIP or cool off with no-cook-tomato sauce SUNSHINE PASTA. After the showers bring forth flowers, carve out a night for LAMB CHOPS WITH TANGY APRICOT SAUCE, one of Bimpy’s forever favorites. Bet you never thought of PUMPKIN CIDER BRAISED PORK SHOULDER as a way to get your seasonal spice fix! And, of course, you’ll know when it’s time to preheat your oven to replicate Dan’s iconic Holiday Cookie Party. Whether you follow a menu as is or mix and match recipes, Dan helps you find the joy in every part of hosting, from setting the guest list to politely letting your company know when it’s time to go home, sharing his favorite family tidbits along the way (including his dad’s guide for Italian American slang—capisce?). For seasoned hosts and first-timers alike, this book is your manual. Save the date, dress up the table, and choose your outfit . . . now LET’S PARTY! ABOUT DAN DAN PELOSI is the Italian meatball making meatballs behind GrossyPelosi, the popular Instagram favorite for all things comfort and food. Approachable and tasty, Dan’s recipes are meant to be shared and celebrated with the ones you love. Dan’s first cookbook, Let’s Eat, was an instant New York Times bestseller, and his Big Italian Sandwich Puzzle is the first-ever deli sandwich jigsaw puzzle (as far as he knows!). Dan is a contributor to New York Times Cooking and appears regularly on Good Morning America. He splits his time between Brooklyn and upstate New York, but you can always find him online at @grossypelosi. Information Source: Bold Fork Books | eventbrite

East City Bookshop welcomes Joanna Shupe to discuss her novel, The Gilded Heiress, in conversation with Diana Quincy. Note on Format: This hybrid event will have both an in-person component with limited seating as well as a virtual broadcast via Zoom Webinar. Both in-person and virtual attendees will be able to pose questions to the author during audience Q&A. Pre-order your copy of The Guilded Heiress for the event in Eventbrite check-out as an add-on to your ticket. ABOUT THE GILDED HEIRESS From USA Today bestselling author Joanna Shupe comes a spicy Anastasia story full of secrets and betrayal, set among the glittering streets of New York City's Gilded Age. In 1880 a baby was stolen from the wealthiest family in America. Though no ransom was ever demanded, the Pendelton family never gave up hope . . . and their reward became the stuff of legend. After being raised in a children’s asylum, Josie Smith ends up on the streets and quickly learns how to take care of herself. Her singing voice draws crowds on every corner, and she’ll stop at nothing to become famous and travel the world, loved and adored by all. Maybe then she won’t think about the family who gave her away as an infant. Leo Hardy isn’t afraid to use his charm and wits to make a fast buck, especially with a mother and five siblings to support. When he stumbles upon a beautiful young woman singing on the street, Leo notices her striking resemblance to the infamous missing baby’s mother, Mrs. Thomas Pendelton. The Hardys lost everything thanks to the Pendeltons, and once Leo sees Josie, he seizes the opportunity to settle the score. All he needs to do is pull off the biggest swindle of his career. As the two are catapulted into Knickerbocker High Society, they grow closer to their goal, as well as to each other. But secrets can only stay hidden for so long. Soon the truth unfolds, and both Josie and Leo must separate what’s real from what’s just gilding. A USA Today bestselling author, Joanna Shupe has always loved history, ever since she saw her first Schoolhouse Rock cartoon. Her books have appeared on numerous yearly “best of” lists, including Publishers Weekly , The Washington Post , Kirkus Reviews , Kobo, and BookPage. She lives in New Jersey with her two spirited daughters and dashing husband. Diana Quincy is a former television journalist who decided she’d rather make up stories where a happy ending is always guaranteed. Diana is an Arab American who grew up all over the world as the daughter of a United States Foreign Service Officer. Her historical romances have landed on annual “Best of” lists in Entertainment Weekly , The Washington Post , Library Journal , Fated Mates and Kirkus . Diana’s newest title, The Earl That Got Away , a Persuasion retelling, will be published in September 2025. Information Source: East City Bookshop | eventbrite

East City Bookshop welcomes back M.L. Rio to discuss her latest novel, Hot Wax. Note on Format: This hybrid event will have both an in-person component with limited seating as well as a virtual broadcast via Zoom Webinar. Both in-person and virtual attendees will be able to pose questions to the author during audience Q&A. Pre-order your copy of Hot Wax for the event in Eventbrite check-out as an add-on to your ticket. The new novel from the bestselling author of If We Were Villains and Graveyard Shift —a vivid and immersive tale of one woman’s reckless mission to make sense of the events that shattered her childhood, and made her who she is. Summer, 1989: ten-year-old Suzanne is drawn like a magnet to her father’s forbidden world of electric guitars and tricked-out cars. When her mother remarries, she jumps at the chance to tag along on the concert tour that just might be Gil and the Kills’ wild ride to glory. But fame has sharper fangs than anybody realized, and as the band blazes up the charts, internal power struggles set Gil and his group on a collision course destined for a bloody reckoning—one shrouded in mystery and lore for decades to come. The only witness to a desperate act of violence, Suzanne spends the next twenty-nine years trying to disappear. She trades the music and mayhem of her youth for the quiet of the suburbs and the company of her mild-mannered husband Rob. But when her father’s sudden death resurrects the troubled past she tried so hard to bury, she leaves it all behind and hits the road in search of answers. Hitching her fate and Gil’s beloved car to two vagabonds who call an old Airstream trailer home, she finds everything she thought she’d lost forever: desire, adventure, and the woman she once wanted to be. But Rob refuses to let her go. Determined to bring her back where she belongs, he chases her across the country—and drives her to a desperation all her own. Drenched in knock-down drag-out rock and roll, Hot Wax is a raucous, breakneck ride to hell and back—where getting lost might be the only way to find yourself and save your soul. M.L. Rio has been an actor, a bookseller, an academic, and a music writer. She holds an MA in Shakespeare studies and a PhD in English literature. She is the author of the internationally bestselling novel If We Were Villains, the USA TODAY bestselling novella Graveyard Shift , and Hot Wax. She never stays in one place for long, but keeps her books, records, and four-legged sidekick in south Philadelphia. Information Source: East City Bookshop | eventbrite

FULL REFUND AVAILABLE FOR ANY CHANGE OF CIRCUMSTANCES What to expect: An Alan Fletcher concert is a complete night’s entertainment. Alan, or Fletch as everyone knows him, will regale you with songs and stories that will, in turn, bring a tear to your eye and a smile to your dial. And Fletch doesn’t shy away from his Neighbours connection with some fun chat and music speaking to his other life as a soap Doctor. The support artist on the tour is brilliant Aussie singer/songwriter Riley Catherall. Riley supported Fletch on his sellout 2024 tour and was so admired by audiences he was the obvious choice to invite for an encore performance. A night with Fletch and his band is a guaranteed fun night out! IS ALAN FLETCHER A BETTER MUSICIAN THAN DR KARL! Here's what they say. Overall Alan Fletcher delivered a show that surprised in the best possible way. He had a fantastic vocal quality throughout as well as some solid guitar playing, but what elevated the evening for me was the balance he struck between thoughtfulness and fun and the strength of his connection with the crowd. It’s safe to say he’s going to appeal to music fans way beyond just those who know him from ‘Neighbours’ Entertainment-focus.com – Laura Cooney Had the pleasure of meeting Fletch in Worthing this week. A joyful evening of songs old and new. Highly recommended - Andy Dobson What a great night at The Steam and Whistle!! Thank you so much! You were all amazing and so lovely to see you again!! - Emiliana, Hannah and Jason Saw you in Southampton last night and you definitely have a better voice and more talent than Dr Karl !! Fabulous evening! - Kim Roberts LISTEN TO ALAN : https://open.spotify.com/artist/7cFm5js7bzn23T8tKkJG5G?si=iY9d3NT4SkO19EYVj5NJBA BE QUICK AND DON’T MISS THIS UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR AND MEET A TV ICON!
