Hinter jedem Tatort verbirgt sich eine Geschichte. Marcell Engel arbeitet als Tatortreiniger in Frankfurt am Main. Er bearbeitet die Fälle, die wir in unserem Alltag normalerweise nicht wahrnehmen. Die Reinigung von Tatorten und Unfallstellen gehört zu seinem Tagesgeschäft. Auch die Reinigung von Wohnungen, in denen einsame Menschen gestorben sind, gehört zu seinen Aufgaben. Michael Hinz, der in Hannover „Fotojournalismus und Dokumentarfotografie“ studiert, hat Marcell Engel in seinem Arbeitsalltag als Tatortreiniger begleitet, um zu zeigen, was er in seinem Job erlebt. Erste Arbeitserfahrungen sammelte Michael Hinz ab 2014 als Fotograf im Rathaus in Wiesbaden. In den folgenden Jahren arbeitete er selbstständig als Fotograf und bewarb sich 2020 erfolgreich um einen Studienplatz an der Hochschule Hannover. Während des Studiums beschäftigt er sich hauptsächlich mit sozialdokumentarischen und historischen Themen. Er erhielt 2021 das Wir-Stipendium. Seine Fotografien für die Reportage „Derek“ werden von der Agentur Zeitenspiegel ausgezeichnet und im Bildband des Hansel-Mieth Preises unter den zwölf besten Reportagen des Jahres 2021 veröffentlicht. 2023 wird er für das True Picture Förderprogramm nominiert. Neben seinem Studium arbeitete er unter anderem für die Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, die Süddeutsche Zeitung, Mayflower Capital und die Ballettakademie Wiesbaden. 🕖 So, 16. Seit dem Überfall Russlands auf die Ukraine ist die politische und gesellschaftliche Reformation des Landes auf dem Prüfstand. Prioritäten haben sich verschoben, sind in den Hintergrund getreten oder stehen mehr denn je im Fokus. Der vom Krieg überschattete Alltag, die von Russland ausgehende homophobe und transfeindliche Propaganda und die Verfolgung queerer Aktivistinnen bedrohen die Community. Sitara Ambrosio erzählt Geschichten aus dem Leben von fünf Protagonist*innen. In intimen, kraftvollen und bewegenden Porträts und Statements macht sie ihre fragile Situation sichtbar. Sitara Ambrosio wuchs in einer Arbeiterfamilie mit slowenischen Wurzeln auf. Durch ihre praktische Arbeit hat sie eine eigene visuelle Sprache entwickelt. Ihre Berichterstattung fokussiert sich vor allem auf medial unterrepräsentierte Aspekte von Konflikten. Meist arbeitet sie zu Geschlechterfragen, Migration und Menschenrechtsverletzungen – in Deutschland, auf dem Balkan, in Osteuropa und im Nahen Osten. Ihre Arbeiten integriert sie oft in ehrenamtliche Bildungsangebote, wie Vorträge und Workshops an Schulen und in Jugendzentren. Neben ihrer journalistischen Arbeit verarbeitet Sitara Ambrosio Erlebtes lyrisch. 2022 wurde sie für eine Teamarbeit mit dem Grimme Online Award für die Multimedia-Reportage „Kandvala“ ausgezeichnet. 2024 erschien ihr Fotobuch „Fragile as Glass“ im Verlag Kettler. 🕖 So, 23. Fünf der vierzehn Berge über 8.000 m stehen in Pakistan. Dennoch sind einheimische Frauen im Bergsport eine Rarität. Solveig Eichner setzt sich mit der Lebenswelt pakistanischer Bergsportlerinnen und ihrer Sicht auf die Rolle der Frau in ihrem Land auseinander. Dafür besuchte die Fotografin (und leidenschaftliche Kletterin und Bergsteigerin) neben Islamabad den auf über 2200 m gelegenen Ort Skardu in Gilgit Baltistan und kooperierte mit einer Gruppe junger Frauen während ihrer Ausbildung zur Klettertrainerin durch die amerikanische NGO Ascend Leadership through Athletics. Solveig Eichner studiert von 2018 bis 2024 „Visual Journalism and DocumentaryPhotography“ in Hannover. 2022 verbrachte sie ein Auslandsjahr im schweizerischen Chur. Neben Stationen bei einer Redaktion für Outdoormagazine und im Nachrichtenjournalismus arbeitet sie als freie Fotografin und Bildredakteurin beim SPIEGEL. Ihr Fokus liegt auf dem erweiterten Portrait und der Reportage, dabei fungieren Bezüge zum Sport häufig als Brücke zu gesellschaftlichen Fragen. Beim BFF-Förderpreis belegte sie 2023 mit ihrem Projekt „Moving On“ den dritten Platz. Sie beschäftigt sich darin mit der Frage, wie es nach der Flucht aus Kriegsgebieten für Sportlerinnen weitergeht.  🕖 So, 2.
