John Colleary is my favourite comic, I learned so much from him... playful, inventive and brilliant. The best. - Tommy Tiernan John Colleary delivered what can only be described as a flawless set. - GO Belfast Aideen McQueen Spontaneous (in the losing her keys rather the kitesurfing way), Aideen McQueen is one of the brightest sparks in the new generation of Irish comics. She’s sassy, sexy, saucy and, most importantly, side-splittingly funny. Aideen appears regularly on RTE, TG4, BBC Northern Ireland and BBC Radio 4. She is one of the resident comperes at the world famous International Comedy Club in Dublin and has appeared alongside such acts as Sean Hughes, Reginald D Hunter, Ardal O’Hanlon, Dylan Moran, Johnny Vegas, Phil Kay and Frankie Boyle. She has performed at many festivals including The Vodafone Comedy Festival, The Electric Picnic Festival and Prague Comedy Festival. In 2023 she had two sell-out shows at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival and was Nominated for Best Performer in the Dublin Fringe Festival and Galway Arts Festival. “Just so funny” - Irish Times “Plays brilliantly with the crowd” - Irish Independent “Best young comic I’ve seen in ages” - Arthur Smith Shannon Basso Gaule is an award winning Carlow comedian, who has been gigging non stop since his return from New Zealand in 2021. Shannon started 2024 with a bang ny making his debut at the Interantional comedy club and winning the Ha! Ha! IG: @sbgcomedy @actingthemaggotpod Taran O’Sullivan is quickly making a big impact on the Irish comedy scene; not only for her dry, sardonic wit, but also via the accolades she has jotted up to date.. She’s one of Cherry Comedy’s Breakout Acts, a Funny Women Semi-finalist and a finalist in Bray’s new comedian of the year competition. And if all that wasn’t enough, she’s also a contributor to RTE’s incredibly popular show Callan’s Kicks. Seen at the best comedy festivals in the country, such as Paddy Power to name a few, Taran is one to watch! Elizabeth Redmond is a comic of many years originally from Houston, Texas, but she asks that you don't hold that against her. Her father was from Dublin and she got back as soon as she could. If you enjoy dark humour with a dash of filth, generational trauma, bitter ex-husbands, and mother-in-laws fruitier than bat shit, you may find her relatable. If you enjoy various silly accents, impressions and getting yelled at in Spanish, she is the comic for you. And if you're offended by her material, that only turns her on. Don't say we didn't warn you! Alex J. Byrne is an incredibly unique and engaging comic with his hilarious blend of magic tricks and clean cut comedy, having cut his teeth on the Irish comedy circuit as well as many comedy festivals such as: The Brighton Fringe Festival, Dublin International Comedy Film Festival, and Glasgow Comedy Festival amongst many more! Alex has toured, performed, and headlined around the world with his fun-filled onstage persona, that inevitably spills off stage! In 2024, Alex toured his show Magic Mic around Ireland and Europe including a run of sold out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
