AthFest is an annual free, three-day festival that celebrates the vibrant creative culture of Athens, Georgia, showcasing local and regional musicians and visual artists. Every year, thousands of people flock to the city of Athens' historic downtown for AthFest to experience live music from a variety of musical genres, see local artwork, and soak up the vibe of one of the coolest cities in the United States. Locals mingle with out-of-town visitors, music fills the air, and art, food, and fun fill the streets. The festival includes three free outdoor stages featuring live music, a block-long Artist Market featuring dozens of visual artists, artisans, and creators, and a block-long Kids' Festival area, ensuring even the youngest audience members can get in on the music and art fun! After the free outdoor stages on Friday and Saturday nights, the official AthFest Club Tour begins. Music venues and clubs host a lineup filled with local music.
