Monthly Wet Felting Workshop with Cos & Phoebe Get creative at Hazlehurst Studios! Date: Tuesday, 6th May Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm Cost: £15 plus booking fees Spaces Available: 8 participants Join resident artists Cos and Phoebe for a fun, hands-on wet felting workshop. Suitable for beginners or those with some experience. This month we are making 2 felted soaps. These can wash and exfoliate, make great presents or just keep them for yourself. Be creative with your design to produce something that is unique and individual. Bring along a towel, a tray and an apron if you have them. Other materials are provided. But if you have a favourite, hard soap bring it along too. What is Wet Felting? A cyanotype is a type of photogram (camera-less photograph) and is one of the oldest photographic techniques. The name of this technique is derived from the distinctive cyan blue colour of the finished prints. In this 2 hour workshop you will be guided on how to apply the special cyanotype emulsion to paper, then learn how to make bookmarks and prints using pressed flowers and leaves, feathers and pre printed digital negatives.
