Sydney Festival is a city-wide celebration of culture, creativity and curiosity. Join the 2025 programme packed with diverse storytellers, new Australian work and the best artists from around the world. There are over 130 events including groundbreaking theatre, music, dance, visual arts and everything in between. The 49th Sydney Festival features 22 world premieres, 24 Australian exclusives and over 50 free events. The Official Festival Welcome at Walsh Bay and the opening of Alphonse Circus' Animals at Parramatta's Riverside Theatres are already underway. This year's Sydney Festival programme features a host of exceptional local and international talent.
