All Hands on Deck: Empowering Behavioral Health Systems from Within
This year‘s theme, “All Hands on Deck: Empowering Behavioral Health Systems from Within,” signifies a collective call to action, recognizing that the strength and effectiveness of behavioral health systems depend on the dedication and empowerment of every individual within them. It emphasizes the importance of internal capacity building, collaborative problem-solving, and shared leadership in navigating the complexities of the current behavioral health landscape. Join us as we explore innovative approaches to workforce development, system optimization, and community engagement, working together to build a more supportive, effective and responsive system for all.
Since 1993, OOOMD's Annual Conference has been recognized as one of the most engaging and empowering events for Marylanders with lived experience of behavioral health (mental health and/or substance use), as well as a significant training opportunity for peers, providers, stakeholders, and policymakers to explore the power and potential of peer-driven wellness and recovery programs and initiatives.
