A New Perspective Inspired by Wild Horses What if everything you've learned about horses and leadership misses something essential? In traditional horsemanship, we often try to establish respect by using techniques to be seen as higher-ranking. Even methods considered "natural" might unintentionally create misunderstandings and distance—because they overlook one crucial factor: How horses actually relate to each other within a herd. Wild horses don't build leadership on dominance or intimidation. They cooperate, communicate clearly, and rely on emotional intelligence and mutual trust. They have a nuanced language, understanding exactly when and how to communicate—and towards whom. This FREE 3-part Online Journey explores exactly that. Here's what you'll learn: ✅ Part 1 – Inside the Wild Herd: See how wild horses truly communicate, connect, and live together peacefully. You'll discover their unique social structures and subtle ways of establishing leadership without dominance. ✅ Part 2 – Misunderstandings between Humans & Horses: Explore the most common misconceptions in horse training—including those often labeled as "natural"—and why well-intentioned approaches might accidentally stress or confuse your horse. ✅ Part 3 – Becoming the Leader Your Horse Chooses: Learn how you can embody the calm clarity of a natural herd leader. Discover specific, practical ways to communicate so clearly and authentically that your horse chooses to trust and follow you. Is this you? Perfect for those who are: ✔️ Curious about wild horse behavior and want a natural connection with your horse. ✔️ Frustrated by traditional methods and looking for kinder, trust-based approaches. ✔️ Using gentle methods but feel you want clearer boundaries and confident leadership. ✔️ Seeking personal insights about yourself through your relationship with your horse. ENGAGEMENT DONE DIFFERENTLY - HUMAN-CENTERED ENGAGEMENT We all know including people with lived experience in community engagement is vital to the design and delivery of social services—and we all agree that we need more intentional and generative approaches that add real value to communities. But how do you balance that alongside the realities of tight timelines, limited budgets and resources, and political pressures and sensitivities? And what does that actually look like on the ground? Join us for a discussion on tangible approaches to community engagement that can build trust with communities and drive better outcomes for government. We’ll dig into the process, challenges, and lessons of first-voice engagement and provide you with some tools/resources to support your efforts in community.
