Daniel Tiger Visits Seashore! | Seashore Trolley Museum

Maine Public and Seashore Trolley Museum are excited to welcome Daniel Tiger, from the PBS KIDS series Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, back for a visit at Seashore on Saturday/Sunday July 26 and 27!
Hop on a trolley shuttle to Highwood Carhouse to meet Daniel and Seashore's very own Biddeford & Saco trolley No. 31 to visit and take photos with Daniel and this special trolley car. Enjoy other activities around the Museum campus, including Maine Public Television's fun activity tent and decorate your own Daniel Tiger sugar cookies! Guests can also visit our regular Museum exhibits and displays, as well as ride trolleys on our private 3.5-mile round trip heritage railroad!
Tickets are $15 per person; children two (2) and under are FREE. Seashore Trolley Museum members are also free! A Seashore Trolley Museum Family Membership for up to five family members is just $80/year. Join today at www.trolleymuseum.org and email finance@trolleymuseum.org for your discount code.
This event will be held rain or shine. Tickets may be transferred to another guest or family, but no refunds will be issued.
No transfers, time changes, or any other ticket changes will be possible after 5PM on Friday, July, 25th.
On July 26th and 27th, the Museum will be open from 9:30AM-4:30PM. The time on your ticket is the time your trolley shuttle to meet Daniel Tiger will depart. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of all of the other activities, exhibits and displays at the Museum during your visit! We will announce on-site food options closer to the date, or pack a picnic lunch to enjoy at one of several locations around our beautiful campus.
We ask that guests arrive at the Museum at least 15 minutes prior to your departure time to ensure ample time for parking and checking in at our Registration Tent, which will be located between our Visitors Center and Tower C, visible from our parking lot. Stroller parking will be available near Tower C.
Stay tuned for more details about lunch options (food trucks or lunch served by Seashore volunteers) available on campus during the event for guests to enjoy, or bring a lunch and enjoy the museum’s picnic areas.

Join Seashore Trolley Museum in beautiful Kennebunkport, Maine for Dino Trolley on Saturday/Sunday June 28 & 29 and August 9 & 10. The event will be held rain or shine (but every outdoor activity except for one will be relocated indoors if needed for comfort due to excess heat or rain).
Rides on the Dino Trolley depart from our Visitors Center at 9:45AM,10:30AM, 11:15AM, 12:00PM, 12:45PM, 1:30PM, 2:15PM and 3:00PM. Back at our Visitors Center and around our main campus we will have fun activities to enjoy!
To spread out our ticket sales, the starting time on your ticket is your Dino Trolley departure time. Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to make sure your group is ready to board. You are welcome to come earlier or stay later to enjoy the activities on campus! The museum will be open from 9:30AM-4:30PM.
Dino Trolleys will be decked out with safari/jungle themed decorations so guests and families can get in the mood!

Dino Quest!
Search for colorful dinosaurs along your trolley ride. Thirty dinosaur silhouettes will be hidden in the woods along our railway; see if you can spot them as the trolley goes by! Our trolley crew will slow down to give you time to spot them, as well as narrate the dino quest. These are not robotic, non-moving dinosaurs. Please see pictures below so you know what to expect during this activity.
Dino Big Dig!
Search for dinosaur bones hidden in Seashore's very own archeological dig site! (it's a big sand box, big enough for social distancing. This is the activity we won't be able to move indoors if it rains, but it will be in a shaded area).
Dino Egg Hunt!
Search for dinosaur eggs across campus! Redeem your eggs in the "craft room" for a prize! This is an ongoing activity and eggs will be replenished multiple times each day.
Let's Explore Dinosaurs!
A fun scavenger hunt across campus, learn more about different types of dinosaurs and stamp your dino passport along the way. Families with a fully stamped dino passport get to enter for a chance to win a free 2025 Family Membership to Seashore Trolley Museum!

Join us on Saturday, April 26 following our Annual Meeting day of activities for an evening of appreciation for your support of the museum and with your fellow Seashore Trolley Museum and National Streetcar Museum at Lowell supporters, donors and volunteers.
The event will take place from 5PM-8PM in the Visitors Center Exhibit Room at Seashore Trolley Museum, located at 195 Log Cabin Road, Kennebunkport, Maine. A sit-down, catered dinner will be provided and several awards and recognitions will be given to honor our top volunteers and supporters in 2024.
This event is open to all; all 2024 & 2025 donors contributing $100 or higher, Life Members, and 2024 volunteers who have more than 50 documented hours at either museum will receive a discount code for free admission to this event for themselves plus one guest. Seashore Trolley Museum, located in beautiful Kennebunkport, Maine, is the world's first and largest electric railway museum! Take a ride on our heritage railway on board restored trolleys from the early 1900s. When our trolleys were built and originally operated in the early 1900s, consideration was not given to travelers with mobility challenges. All trolleys have steps into the trolley, and some have additional interior steps. Seashore does have a Mobilift on our Visitors Center platform for guests who need extra help accessing the trolleys; the Mobilift is compatible with one trolley in our operating fleet this season. If you or a member of your group would like to use the Mobilift to access the trolleys operating on our railroad, please call in advance to let us know (207-967-2800 x113) so we can let you know if the trolley compatible with the Mobilift will be operating the date you plan to visit.

Ice Cream Night | Seashore Trolley Museum

Join us for a Seashore Fan Favorite -- Ice Cream Night! Held every Wednesday in July and August from 5:30PM-7:30PM, guests are treated to a special evening trolley ride on our heritage railway through our campus AND an ice cream sundae with all the fixin's!
Sundae toppings include: chocolate, strawberry, butterscotch, and caramel sauces, gummy bears, M&Ms, rainbow and chocolate sprinkles, crushed oreos, whipped cream, and strawberries donated by Wyman's! Dairy free ice cream is also available.
Tickets are $12/each (children two and under are free). Admission includes the trolley ride and ice cream sundae.
Trolleys will depart at 5:30PM, 6PM, and 6:30PM
. Example: if your ticket reads 5:30 - 6:30, your trolley leaves
at 5:30. Your ice cream sundae will be after your trolley returns to the Visitor's Center. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your ticket's boarding time so you are ready to go at your ticketed departure time. (Walk-ins should arrive by 6:30PM to participate in the event).
Because Ice Cream Night is a fan-favorite, we encourage you to purchase tickets in advance. Eventbrite ticketholders are guaranteed a spot on the trolley during the ride you've selected. Tickets are also available at the door but you will be seated after Eventbrite ticketholders (or you may need to wait for the next ride/s to be accommodated).
This season we're giving back!
As a nonprofit, we are so grateful for all of the support we receive from our local community and want to pay the support forward. We've selected 9 other local nonprofits who will benefit from Ice Cream Night in 2025 too! On their night, the nonprofit will receive 50% of all proceeds. This means that the nonprofit benefactor on the evening you purchase tickets for will receive $6 for every ticket sold to support their mission.

Refund Policy
: Ticketholders may receive a full refund up to 24 hours in advance of the event. Trolleys will operate rain or shine, but if there's a thunderstorm we will delay the effected trolley ride/s until it passes (and serve ice cream to guests first). If the weather is so inclement that we need to cancel a ride/s or the whole event, Eventbrite ticketholders will have two options: Take a rain date ticket for a future 2025 Ice Cream Night event, or donate the amount of your ticket purchase to Seashore and the benefiting nonprofit of that evening (and you will receive a donation receipt for your taxes). If you pick to come back on a future Ice Cream Night date, the nonprofit benefactor of the original night you purchased tickets for will still receive 50% of your groups' ticket proceeds. We'll communicate with all impacted ticketholders if a weather scenario actually occurs this season.

Model Railroad Mini-Diorama Workshop | Seashore Trolley Museum

Please join Seashore Trolley Museum as we host a Model Railroad Community Mini Diorama Workshop with multiple date options available this season: April 26, May 10, June 6, July 11, August 1, August 16, and August 30. We have 20 kits available each date so please register in advance if you would like to participate; the event will be held 1PM-3PM on each event date.
The $15 admission gets each person or group a single kit, as well as all the paint, glue, and ground cover you will need to make your diorama your own. We will also provide select scenery items, including dinosaurs, animals, trees and bushes, people, and cars. If you would like to add something specific to your diorama, please prepare that item ahead of time and bring it with you to the workshop.
Each of the kits provided connect to each other, allowing people to make their own custom loops. On August 30-31, Seashore Trolley Museum will be hosting a model railroad weekend, and as part of that we would love to create a Seashore Trolley loop, comprised of all the different dioramas that our guests and members have made. If you would like to be involved in this event, please join us for a workshop, make your diorama, and bring back your diorama during model railroad weekend so we can show it off!
