Get ready to laugh out loud with: 🎤 Troy Toderian - Originally from northern Manitoba, Troy Toderian spent most of the 1990’s and early 2000’s playing rock n’ roll across Canada. Starting stand-up comedy in 2014, Troy’s act has been described as an honest, oftentimes quirky commentary on marriage, family, and aging delivered in an original style. Troy has performed in comedy clubs, bars, and barns in and around Winnipeg serving as a host, a middle act, and a headliner. He has performed at Yuk Yuk’s and Rumor’s in Winnipeg as well as Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy in Minneapolis as part of their pro/am show. Career highlights to date have included opening for Craig Gass, Joe List, Patrick Haye, and Todd Ness. He has performed in the Winnipeg Comedy Showcase and has made it to the semifinals in the Winnipeg’s Funniest Person with a Day Job competition at Rumor’s. 🎤 Serena Shane - a Canadian professional touring stand up comedian. With a rapier wit and self-deprecating confidence, she has become a feminine force to be reckoned with. Not one to shy away from difficult subjects, Serena finds the humour in all things and fearlessly brings them to the stage. Serena has performed in such festivals as the YYCComedy festival, Okanagan Comedy Festival, Femme Wave Festival and the Edmonton Comedy Festival. 🎤 Scott Porteous - one of Canada's youngest comedy veterans. He's been on CBC, a multiple finalist in Winnipeg's Funniest Person with a Day Job, and a finalist in Calgary's Laugh Shop's Joke of Thrones competition. He can be heard on Sirius XM and has toured all over Canada and the US, including performances at both the SLO Comedy Festival in San Luis Obisopo, California and The World Series of Comedy in Las Vegas. His comedy has been described as sharp, genuine and cleanish. 🎤 Herbert Henries - the only comedy dangerist in the world. Probably because he also invented it. Herbert performs acts of danger while simultaneously telling jokes. He's been around for less than a year and already he's left a huge mark. He recently performed in front of the judges of Canada's Got Talent and was told by Howie Mandel himself that he is Winnipeg's greatest comedy export . The players and coaching staff of CD High School are offering soccer camp opportunities to students entering into 3rd - 8th grade. Camp will run 6:00 - 8:00pm every night from June 9th - 13th. This year's event will be held at CD High School's Athletic Fields. All participants should bring the following: Soccer cleats, shin guards, ball, soccer clothing, and a water bottle (additional water will be provided).
