4kms with Four!We love running at Four. We also love getting involved with our Christchurch community. So we thought why not combine the two, and host a fun event for our clients and their friends/family! The 04th October is our second birthday so come along and celebrate two years at Normans Road with a 4km run/jog/walk, with ALL ticket sales going towards the NZ Mental Health Foundation - a charity that means a lot to our team and community. Never run 4km before? Or keen to improve your time?This event is suitable for all abilities - seasoned runners, those new to running, or those that are getting back into a walking/running routine following injury or time off. On signing up you will recieve a link to a free program (you choose your level) designed by our running physiotherapist Sam Coombs to help you in your build up to the day and ensure you get to the start line injury free. Where and when?North Hagley Park - Victoria Lake by the tennis courts. The Four team will be on site from 5pm. The run/walk will officially start at 5:30pm so please arrive early to ensure that you are ready to go. The course? We will be emailing out the course map ahead of time for those interested. And will have leaders out front on bikes showing you the way if you get lost. Giveaways! There will be some amazing giveaways- including some of our awesome services at Four, as well as some fun giveaways from some of our local friends.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing punting on the Avon River in Christchurch, and it was an absolutely delightful way to explore the city. The journey itself was serene and picturesque, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.Our guide, dressed in traditional Edwardian attire, expertly navigated the flat-bottomed boat with a long pole, allowing us to relax and take in the tranquil surroundings. We drifted past lush greenery, charming bridges, and historic architecture, all of which created a postcard-perfect backdrop. The gentle pace of the punting made it easy to fully appreciate the beauty of the Christchurch Botanic Gardens and the calm waters of the river.The entire experience was wonderfully calming, yet never dull. Our guide shared interesting tidbits about the area&rsquo;s history and natural features, making the trip both relaxing and educational. It&rsquo;s the kind of activity that feels timeless&mdash;no rush, no stress, just the simple pleasure of gliding through a scenic waterway.Overall, I&rsquo;d highly recommend punting on the Avon to anyone visiting Christchurch. It turns out that the scenery is not as good as described on the Internet. In fact, the scenery while driving in New Zealand is not worse than this. Anyway, it&#39;s OK.
