Located on Haihe East Road, Hedong District, it is a modern cultural and creative block built in Tianjin in recent years. Its predecessor was the factory building of Tianjin Cotton Mill No. 3.

Tianjin Cotton Mill No. 3 was originally called Baocheng Yuda Cotton Mill. The old site was located at No. 38 Xitai Street, Zhengzhuangzi, Hedong District, Tianjin. In May 1920, Chen Chengxiu, a native of Fujian, initiated the construction of Yuda Cotton Mill, and officially started construction in 1922.

However, the factory&#39;s technical equipment and other equipment were controlled by the creditor, the Japanese company Toyo Takushi Co., Ltd., and in 1925, the spinning mill was annexed by the Japanese Toyo Takushi Co., Ltd.

Wu Jingyi, the former manager of Baocheng Yuda Cotton Mill, Wu Jieping&#39;s father, was an industrialist who came into contact with Westernization in the late Qing Dynasty. He was the first person in China to implement the &quot;eight-hour work system&quot;, which has been used to this day.

Later, &quot;Yuda Cotton Mill&quot; became famous for the May 30th Movement. At that time, the workers here responded to the national strike movement and were suppressed by the reactionary military and police. Several workers were killed and injured. Upon hearing the news, workers from nearby spinning mills rushed to the factory&#39;s office and work areas with the workers of Yuda Cotton Mill and smashed the factory equipment. The struggle lasted for more than 3 hours, and 10 rifles and 3 pistols from the military and police were seized. More than 20 workers were killed and injured. It is known as the &quot;Smashing Yuda&quot; incident.

After liberation, it was renamed Tianjin Third Cotton Mill, abbreviated as &quot;Cotton Three&quot;. Cotton Three is also an important representative of Tianjin&#39;s light industry, laying the foundation for the development of Tianjin&#39;s light industry. In the late 1990s, the textile industry declined and the factory buildings were idle. This century-old spinning mill became an important relic of Tianjin&#39;s light textile industry. Until 2014, &quot;Cotton Three&quot; ushered in a new spring, and the Cotton Three Creative Block was completed.

I&#39;ve been twice, and nothing much has changed. Things are getting more expensive, but the quality is getting worse. It&#39;s incredibly crowded, especially during peak season. The stunt show is good. The aircraft carrier show is just so-so, not as good as I expected.
