His artistic journey began under the mentorship of veteran Malaysian artist Jeganathan Ramachandran, who inspired him to explore painting. In 2019, he apprenticed with Jega and completed an advanced painting course at La Salle College of the Arts in Singapore. Jonathan’s achievements include winning the Contemporary Art Category prize by the Indian Council for Cultural Relations in 2020. His works have been exhibited in group shows across New York, London, Singapore, and Penang. Jonathan’s practice focuses on the subconscious mind and the stories it holds, engaging with themes of meaning and human experience. about SueKi YeeSueKi Yee is a Malaysian dancer and choreographer, currently based in Berlin, whose practice gravitates toward improvisation, site-specific performance, and multidisciplinary experimentation. With a Bachelor’s degree in Dance from ASWARA (Akademi Seni Budaya dan Warisan Kebangsaan), she has trained in contemporary dance, ballet, and a wide range of traditional folk and classical dances. For her, movement serves as both a lens and a laboratory—an entry point through which she engages with other artistic forms and practices. Through her work, SueKi continually seeks to expand creative possibilities, forging connections between diverse disciplines and broadening the contexts in which dance can be researched, created, and presented.
