We are fortunate to have the opportunity to have Andy Rikunenko (world class compound archer & renowned coach) visit us for a day-long master class. The format for the event has not been finalised, but it will involve both improving our compound archers, and assisting our coaches with coaching them. The event is open to H&W archers & coaches. This full day class will enable you to work from live. model (a person) to improve your drawing and painting techniques the morning will concentrate on getting the drawing right and the afternoon you will look at the colour and achieving the form. All materials. included. There is a maximum of 3 students so you get maximum attention. The model will sit for 4 hours. You will have one hour for lunch. Doors 7pm / Performance 8pm / Licensed bar available Calypso Moon are an all-female jazz band who are making their mark on the UK jazz scene with gorgeous, fresh and playful renditions of vintage jazz and swing standards. Full of joy with a touch of romance so put your glad rags on for a light-hearted foray into a bygone era. They perform all the classics from artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, Billie Holiday, Frank Sinatra, the list is endless! The band features the finest talent in their live shows… Seasoned vocalist Eleanor Dattani has toured extensively with festival heavyweights The Electric Swing Circus, performing at Glastonbury, Bestival and Womad, as well as touring internationally. Saxophonist Alex Clarke is a rising star on the British jazz scene, boasting the accolades of Youth Jazz Musician Finalist 2020 and British Jazz Awards 'Rising Star' 2019. Drummer Lydia Glanville, has graced stages such as Glastonbury, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, The Barbican and Birmingham Town Hall. She has performed on BBC Radio 6 Music and was featured on The One Show. Bassist Amy Coates recently graduated from the University of Birmingham. She has performed at Birmingham Symphony Hall and Mostly Jazz Festival, and performs regularly with many different acts on the UK jazz scene.
