For one weekend each summer, we transform a secluded 1,100 acre camp in the Haliburton Highlands into a wilderness escape for adults to let loose, reunite with their inner child and meet new friends along the way. Now in its 12th year, this all-inclusive adventure features flowing beer, wine, spirits and flavourful camp-inspired dinners created by A-list chefs. We bring together 300 lucky guests to connect with nature and each other while enjoying dozens of activities like Catamaran Sailing, High Ropes, Canoeing, Yoga, Archery Tag, Tie Dye, Inflatable Water Park, Baseball, Paddle Boarding, Tennis, Dance Parties, Talent Show, Lip Sync Battles and Star-Studded Sing-Alongs by the fire. Significant casualties have left their forces fractured, forcing them to consolidate their remaining units. Their temporary respite in a remote logging camp has become both a sanctuary and a trap, as the NVF closes in. The REBEL Coalition The REBEL Coalition represents a patchwork of fighters united by their shared defiance of NATO influence. Veterans, outlaws, and ideologues from across Canada have flocked to their cause. However, the raid on CFB Trenton left their ranks in disarray. Desperation has driven them to recruit whatever fragmented units they can find, from seasoned fighters to raw recruits. Their hideout in the logging camp is a precarious position. While it offers some natural fortifications, it also limits their mobility and resources. The onset of winter looms, threatening to encase the region in snow and ice, which the REBELs plan to use to their advantage by retreating into the dense forests if given the chance. But before winter comes, they must hold their ground and fend off the NVF’s looming assault. NATO Voluntary Forces (NVF) The NVF, a coalition of NATO-backed troops and regional recruits, has seized the opportunity to strike while the REBEL Coalition is weak. With the summer months bringing a surge of reinforcements from American allies, their ranks have swelled with fresh troops and supplies. Their mission is clear: crush the REBEL presence near Minden before they can regroup or disappear into the wilderness for the winter. The NVF represents a disciplined and well-equipped force, drawing from both professional soldiers and local volunteers eager to restore order. Their intelligence teams have tracked the REBEL forces to the logging camp and now face the challenge of executing a decisive strike in the unforgiving terrain of the Haliburton Highlands. The Stakes The battle for Minden will be pivotal. If the NVF can deliver a crippling blow to the REBEL forces, they may finally turn the tide of the conflict. However, failure would grant the REBELs the time they need to vanish into the vast, uncharted forests, where they could regroup and launch further offensives in the spring.
