Fat Dads made their first festival appearance at Kendal Calling 2023 and played to a packed and overflowing tent (the largest crowd that the BBC Introducing tent had seen all weekend) of passionate fans, all singing the words back to them – a remarkable feat achieved entirely without industry contacts, PR, or management. The back end of 2023 saw Fat Dads perform live on Radio X, and support Andrew Cushin. Cumbria Ride Safe 2025 Come join us at Carlisle East Fire Station for Cumbria Ride Safe 2025. Cumbria Ride Safe offers motorcyclists the opportunity to spend a day with advanced riders who will assess skills and improve safety. Whether your a new rider or seasoned veteren, you'll learn new skills that will improve your riding. The event include incident scene management, first aid and a practical ride out. The event will start at 1000, but please arrive by 0945 in order that you can register. Please bring lunch and and refreshments with you in order that we can make the most of the day. You must have a full motorcycle licence, your bike must be in a road worthy condition and approved motorcyle PPE is required.
