Join Us for an Ecosystem Mapping Session and Early Childhood Champions RetreatWe’re excited to invite you and one other coalition member to the upcoming LECSBG Coordinators Convening: Ecosystem Mapping and EC Champions Retreat at Buffalo Thunder Resort on Tuesday, June 3 and 4, 2025. Day 1of the convening will bring together coalition members, ECECD staff, UNM Family Development Program coaches, and other key partners to take the next step in our shared journey. Building on the deep insights surfaced during the Creative Assemblies, we will explore the relationships, values, and structures that shape our current early childhood landscape. This will be a hands-on training and collective sensemaking experience. Through a guided mapping process, we’ll explore the cultural and structural patterns that define our current ecosystem, and identify where meaningful change is possible. By the end of the day, we will: Visualize New Mexico’s Early Childhood Ecosystem as it currently standsExplore how beliefs, systems, and services impact familiesIdentify key leverage points for change and innovationDay 2 of the convening is all about slowing down and focusing not only on what we learned on day 1 but also on personal wellness, connection, and inspiration. The day will begin with a warm welcome and breakfast, followed by a session on self-care practices to manage stress and create healthy boundaries, including optional movement activities. We look forward to having you join us in this collaborative, practical, and powerful 2 days of learning, connecting, and strengthening our relationships. Together, we’ll continue building a system where every child in New Mexico can thrive.
