The event kicks off with a fun football session, where participants will sharpen their skills through fun drills and friendly mini-matches. This is a fantastic opportunity to make new friends, learn teamwork, and enjoy the thrill of the game in a supportive environment. After the football fun, we’ll dive into an engaging educational workshop focused on anti-discrimination. Through interactive activities, role-playing, and group discussions, participants will explore the importance of diversity, inclusion, and respect both on and off the pitch. This workshop is designed to empower young people to stand against discrimination in all its forms and to promote a culture of equality. We are back offering our popular, inclusive fun football camps including a hot meal for your budding footballers this half term! Who is this camp for? Girls & boys of all abilities between the ages of 5-13 years are welcome to attend FGR Soccer Camps. They will be given the opportunity to be active, learn new skills, meet new friends, and develop their footballing knowledge throughout the day. All sessions are run by our qualified and experienced coaches over at Nailsworth Primary School Field. Please can you supply your child with comfortable and appropriate clothing/footwear for outdoor activities in all weather conditions. Football boots are preferable for activities taking place on the school field. Are lunch and snacks provided? A vegan lunch is provided for all children who attend each day of the camps as well as a selection of fruit available during designated snack breaks. Despite this offer from us, please do not refrain from bringing your child with their own lunch and any healthy snacking options that you know they will enjoy during our designated break periods. Book early to avoid disappointment! These camps are extremely popular and will sell out. So please book now to miss disappointment. Please note that unfortunately, we cannot take bookings on the day - this is to ensure participant/staff ratios are adhered to. When is registration? Registration will take place at 09:30AM so can you please be prompt with your arrival allowing us to maximise your child's time at the camp. Departure will begin at 15:00 PM, taking place in the main stand allowing a swift departure for yourself and your child. Is your child in receipt of Free School Meals? If so, you may be able to apply for a FREE place on our soccer camps. Please email community@fgr.co.uk with your child's name, age, D.O.B, class year, and school they attend. Please note this is a first-come, first-served basis with limited spaces available. You will receive a link to sign up. Cancellation Policy: If you choose to cancel your registration for our Soccer Camps within 24 hours of the event, we regret to inform you that we cannot process a refund. This is due to the advanced arrangements and commitments made on our end to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
