Saskia Colwell is originally from London and during the spring of 2024 she embarked on a two-month residency at the gallery’s studio in Venice. Colwell created a series of charcoal works on vellum, which she then completed in her studio in London – the interplay between charcoal and vellum creates a deep connection to the human body in the images.
