In honor of Mother’s Day, Haven, in partnership with Bouquet Omaha, will be hosting a private floral design class for mothers who have endured the loss of a child. Assisted floral design is a method of relieving stress and improving mental awareness through fragrance, touch and sight. One of Bouquet's floral designers will use her talents to demonstrate the basic elements in floral design with an array of vibrant spring blooms. We will provide the all the materials needed, so just bring yourself. You will leave with your very own one-of-a-kind floral arrangement to keep for yourself in honor of your child(ren) this Mother's Day. No previous floral experience necessary. Nationally touring comic Dan Alten headlines this one of a kind event with special guests Rachel Ware, Bill Queen, and more! We're raising some dough to improve the bocce court behind the Style de Familglia public art installation on 7th street which is maintained by the Towns Homeowners Association. This unique event is brought to the Little Itally neighborhood in collaboration with Little Italy Artist Guild, Sons and Daughter of Italy, Santa Lucia Festival, Orsi's Italian Bakery, Emmet's Tavern, Quick Draw Comedy. Dan Alten is an intelligent goofball from Kentucky who has headlined shows in 30 states playing everything from theaters to punk basements to art galleries to beloved comedy clubs.
