WED, APR 16: SANTA MONICA, CA OVERVIEW: On the beautiful sands of Santa Monica Beach, we'll meditate, reach out to our alien friends, and invite them to come and join us! We make no guarantees; however, at our events, it's common for people to feel the presence of non-human entities, to see them psychically, to perceive messages from them, or to see their craft in the sky! This event is part of our 6-week, 24-event tour of 16 US states! MEETING LOCATION: We'll meet at the playground close to the junction of Ocean Park Blvd & Barnard Way. From the junction, walk towards the beach, and you'll see the playground on the right. Address: Ocean Park Playground, Barnard Way & Ocean Park Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90405. Meeting location on Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/FNKDW5xxSaLYj4DW6 PARKING: When I was here a couple of years ago, we weren't able to use the beach parking lots because they closed at 9pm. Therefore, I will be parking for free about 15 minutes' walk away, on 5th St: https://goo.gl/maps/tHmFWP13Wp9uJTwcA START TIME: 7:00 PM Local Time END TIME: 10:00 PM (If we're connecting successfully with non-human intelligences, we might stay later.) PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME: Shortly after the displayed start time, we'll walk to the contact location. If you arrive late, there'll be no practical way for you to catch up and find us. So please plan to arrive a bit early. HEALTH PRECAUTIONS: If you have a sore throat, runny nose, or any other cold/flu-like symptoms, please do not attend. Thank you very much for your understanding and kindness! EVENT COST: $10 PAYMENT OPTIONS: - $10 cash at the event - $10 Eventbrite Ticket - $10 membership (Tier 1 or higher) of our Patreon group: https://www.patreon.com/AlienContact (Joining our Patreon group gives attendees free entry to all of our tour events, access to our weekly online contact events, and full access to our extensive video library. Membership in our Patreon group is cancelable at any time.) WALKING: From our meeting location, we'll walk for about 5 minutes along the beach, on sand, to get to our contact site. Basic levels of fitness/agility will be required. WHAT TO BRING: No matter how warm it feels at the start of an event, it almost always gets a lot colder as the evening progresses, so please bring several very warm layers. Appropriate foot-wear for walking on sand. A portable chair to sit on, or a camping mat to lie on (I recommend camping mats because they're easy to carry and you get a better view of the sky when lying down). A flashlight, phone light, or headlamp to walk safely in the dark. Water. OPTIONAL ITEMS TO BRING: Binoculars. Cameras. Tripods. Electric or magnetic field detectors. Paranormal investigation equipment. Snacks. A tarp to lay under your chair or mat. Natural-ingredient insect repellant (with no DEET or toxic chemicals). Insect-repellant clothing and netted hat. Insect-proof netted tent. Thermal clothing from a camping store. Gloves, a hat, or a balaclava. A sleeping bag to stay warm inside! Sunscreen. Sun-hat. PLEASE DON'T BRING: Drugs, cigarettes, vapes, alcohol, weapons, fishing equipment, hunting equipment, meat products, dairy products, or any products designed to kill insects. LASER POINTERS: It’s OK to bring a laser pointer with you, but please only turn it on after you've pointed it up towards the sky. Laser pointers can damage human eyes, so this rule is important! And never point them anywhere near human-made aircraft. Doing so is illegal! TRASH: Please don't leave any trash outside. SIGNAL STRENGTH: Sometimes, our events take place in remote locations with very weak or no cell-phone signal. Therefore, please screenshot all of the details for this event, including maps, before travelling. ATTITUDE: For a contact event to work, everyone needs to maintain a peaceful, cooperative, and respectful attitude. Please be gentle in the expression of your beliefs. And please be gentle in response to the beliefs of others. The event leader will need to guide everyone about where to sit, how to use a laser pointer, when to be quiet, which contact protocols to use, etc. Please be respectful of his wishes and cooperate with him to the best of your ability throughout the event. Thank you very much! PREPARATION: It's OK if you've never done anything like this before. No preparation is needed. All you need is an open mind and peaceful, friendly intentions. WEATHER: Even if rain is forecast, the event will most likely still proceed. If the weather is extremely bad at the start of the event, we'll probably drive to the nearest Starbucks for a social gathering instead! GUESTS/PETS: You're welcome to bring friends or guests with you. The event cost will be the same for them too. Please only bring children if they're old enough to meditate with us in silence. No pets please. TOUR EXPERIENCE: Some people really enjoy travelling around on tour with us, driving in convoy, eating in the same places, coming to multiple events, getting to know each other, and being immersed in the exhilarating vibe of ascended contact! If that's something you like the idea of doing, then please join our Patreon group, where you'll have access to 'behind-the-scenes,' between-event meetups! :) TOUR VIDEO: What's it like to attend one of our contact events? What's it like to go on tour with us? https://youtu.be/VIjitAP04VA QUESTIONS: If you have any questions, please email me at RupertContactGuy@gmail.com. I look forward to seeing you all soon! :) Information Source: Rupert | eventbrite

The Next Fun Thing is hosting an exclusive networking event at The Bungalow in Santa Monica, tailored specifically for professionals in the tech industry. This isn’t your average mixer—attendees will fill out a pre-event questionnaire, allowing us to strategically match you with like-minded individuals during curated one-on-one speed networking rounds, maximizing your chances of connecting with the people who align with your goals and interests. This event is for anyone working (or aspiring to work) in the tech industry, including: Founders, Executives, & C-Suite (and similar leadership roles) Technical & Engineering Roles (UX/UI Designers, Developers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, & more) Non-Technical & Business Roles (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal, & more) Support Roles (IT Support, Business Development, Quality Assurance, Operations, & more) Why You Should Attend: In today's remote-first world, it’s harder than ever to find opportunities to level up, expand your network, and break out of the isolation that comes with working from home (if you're in the tech space, odds are you spend a good amount of time WFH).  This event provides a unique chance to: Connect with like-minded professionals who understand your challenges and are facing the same struggles—whether it’s finding new job opportunities, improving your skills, or overcoming industry hurdles. Collaborate and brainstorm with peers about strategies to navigate remote work and elevate your career. Share insights, discuss best practices, and come away with actionable ideas that can help you grow both personally and professionally. Build genuine relationships with individuals who can offer not only career advancement opportunities but also a sense of camaraderie and support in an otherwise siloed environment. This is your chance to get out from behind the computer, engage face-to-face with others in your field, and make connections that can help you advance in your career—while also finding peers who truly understand the struggles of working remotely in the tech industry. A Dating Event For People Who Are Tired Of Dating Dating Is Hard. We Want to Change That. We’re eliminating online matches you never meet in person, dead-end first dates, and boring small talk. If you want to make real connections, this is the event for you. How it Works: Secure your spot at the event by selecting the gender and age you associate with. Check your confirmation email for a link to set up your speed dating account. On this account, you will answer a few simple questions to ensure we find you the most compatible people in the room. Show up to the event and let the matchmaking magic happen While tickets for this event are sold by age range, we recognize that age is only one factor in determining potential compatibility. If we believe there is a strong potential match for you outside your identified age range, we may still try to facilitate that connection. Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees, and we hope that everyone will approach this event with an open heart and an open mind. It is important to note that we do not discriminate based on age or sex, and all attendees are welcome at this event.
