This interactive workshop covers the complete process of raising egg-laying chickens, from chick care to maximizing egg production. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, discussions, and problem-solving exercises to develop essential poultry management skills. Key learning objectives includes Identifying developmental phases and care needs of laying hens, set up and manage an ideal brooding environment, understand dietary requirements for different growth stages, recognize and manage common poultry illnesses, design optimal living conditions for stress-free, high-yield egg production and implementing best practices for handling and storing eggs. Interactive activities will include hands-on chick care demonstration (brooding setup), feed formulation challenges to select proper nutrition, health check role to identify and manage diseases, nest box design for optimal egg-laying conditions, egg handling and quality assessment techniques and problem-solving scenarios on low production, stress factors, and predator threats. Our headphones are completely compatible with standard hearing aids, however if the hearing aids are designed to amplify in the range of 70hz-8500hz, the headphones are unlikely to be compatible. This would potentially cause them distortion and across the board for all Silent disco Equipment. 10. Is food/drink available for purchase at your events? We offer a fully stocked bar at all of our events. Food vendors are only available at outdoor events. 11. Is there a dress code? There is no strict dress code for the event. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes. However, if the event is being held in a cathedral, we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing high heels as they may cause damage to the cathedral flooring. You may not be allowed entry if you are wearing stilettos or high heeled shoes that can damage historic flooring of venues. 12. How can I contact you if I have further questions? We are excited to host SUPERSTARS SPORTS CAMP at various venues in Martin County. Featuring a wide array of recreational sports activities for children, ages 5-12, this week-long camp will keep your kids active and engaged. This link is for camp dates: July 21-25, 2025 at Halpatiokee Regional Park in Stuart. Drop off: 8:30 am - 8:45 am; Pick-Up: 2:00 pm – 2:15 pm Ages: 5-12 (please contact camp director if you have a mature 4 year old that would like to attend) Just a few of the activities your camper may experience: Basketball, “Beach” Volleyball/Newcomb, Gaga Ball, Obstacle Course, Relay Races, Soccer, Water Play, and Wiffle Ball. Campers will rotate in age-appropriate groups throughout various sports on different days. Crafts, board games and other outdoor games/activities will also be available. It is our goal for everyone to have fun through recreational sports and activity. Fun Fridays may also include an old-school field day competition along with a pizza party and prizes. Price: $220/child (weekly); $200/sibling ($20 per sibling discount w/ one fully paid sibling, attending same week, weekly option only); $55 per day/child (drop-in) Cancellation Policy: More than 7 days prior to your camp start date: 100% refund (less Eventbrite's fees) Within the 7 day period before your camp start date: Non-refundable. Please note that we are unable to offer refunds for any full or partial days missed during each week of camp. WHAT TO BRING: Campers should bring: lunch in an insulated bag, a substantial snack, a water bottle that keeps drinks cold, and a drink for lunch. Electronics Policy: If a camper chooses to bring a personal cell phone or watch to camp (which is NOT recommended), it must be marked with the camper’s name, and kept in the camper’s bag during ALL activities. Superstars Sports Camp is NOT responsible for any loss or damage to a camper’s personal items of any kind.
