Singing “Chansons Francaises” from Charles Aznavour, Gilbert Becaud and Jacques Brel, to beloved Deutsche Kabarett, Pop and Schlager Lieder”, mixed with songs reminiscing his time in London and the continent. BIO Born and bred on a sheep and cattle farm in the northern NSW Highlands, Grant made the decision to forgo studying Architecture, to concentrate on his natural artistic and stage abilities. He started his career in the Wrest Point Casino in Hobart, then afterwards on a Tokyo stage, which in turn would bring him to Europe to begin his international career, a great feat for “a boy from the bush”. After working in a revue theatre in Barcelona he moved to Paris to perform in the “Lido”, and the “Moulin Rouge” (lead singer of the Revue “Formidable”), which were to be the foundation of his “Entertaining” style. Grant then had a wonderful opportunity to perform in the most successful musical of all time, “Cats”, where he starred in Paris, Hamburg, and Zürich, playing all three lead male roles of Munkustrap, Rum Tum Tugger, and Gus. He moved to Berlin to be leading soloist in five different shows on the fantastic stage of Europe’s largest revue theatre, the “Friedrichstadtpalast”. Between these engagements Grant toured extensively through Europe in such productions as “the Andrew Lloyd Webber Gala”, “Gershwin”, Theater an der Wiens “Classics”, “Disney Musical” stage shows. For many years Grant has been having great success with his own “one man” Shows, and enjoys the freedom to work freelance, performing his shows on Cruise Ships, Galas, Events, etc. Grant is back home now and excited to perform many classic Pop and Rock hits, and ballads, together with some of his continental European repertoire, to give his Australian audiences a culturally rich, elegant and exciting show. He moved to Sydney to study at The McDonald College to pursue his passion for performing arts. He has been taking vocal lessons for 6 years and won the best junior vocalist award in 2020 with RCM, as well as various local Eisteddfod awards. He plays guitar, piano and bass, and has been gigging around his local town for several years. Max is passionate about music, particularly musical theatre having performed with various local theatre Company's, doing musicals such as Strictly Ballroom the Musical, Pricilla queen of the desert and Pirates of Penzance. Max has also done school shows such as Rock of Ages, as Drew and in Grease, as Danny. He looks forward to playing Billy Flynn in The McDonald College’s production of Chicago next month. JULIETTE Juliette is a dedicated musical theatre student at The McDonald College of the Performing Arts, training in all styles of dance at Ed5 International. She has participated in numerous productions and programs, including the AMTA Pre-Professional Intensive and four Rise The Performance Experience programs, where she was grateful to receive a scholarship, as well as the role of a 2024 NSW Ambassador. Passionate about performing, Juliette has played lead roles in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Popstars the 90s Musical with Gosford Musical Society, as well as Matilda the Musical and A Chorus Line at The McDonald College. She also won the McDonald College Vocal Competition in 2024, after placing second the previous year. Juliette thoroughly enjoys performing in musicals, and has performed in 14 different shows. Most recently, at Gosford Musical Society she has performed lead roles in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Popstars the 90s Musical, as well as at her school, The McDonald College, Matilda the Musical, and A Chorus Line. Other achievements include winning the McDonald College Vocal Competition in 2025, after placing second in the competition in 2024. Juliette continues to develop her vocal skills with Benjamin Khiene, whom she has trained with for two years, and has recently begun working with Todd Keys. She is also fortunate and grateful to learn under the guidance of Kate Dunn, who brings extensive experience from Broadway and the West End. Juliette is very excited to perform her first cabaret alongside her good friend Max and is incredibly grateful for the support of her parents, Ben, Todd, Kate, and Margi, who have guided her throughout her journey. Who for? Our Learn to Ride course is designed specifically for children aged 4-10 years old who would like to learn how to ride a bike with pedals. It is recommended that 4 year old's attend our Balance Bike course prior to attending this course. Course Description The course (4 x 1 hour sessions) will give children the skills and confidence required to ride a bike with pedals independently. The course will teaches children how to: Fit a helmetMount & dismount the bikeBalanceSteerBrakePedalWe will do this by lowering the seats and removing the pedals from the children’s bikes for the first three sessions. This enables children to learn the skills with the reassurance of being able to put their feet on the ground if they lose their balance. This helps them to feel safe which builds their confidence. For the fourth session we put the pedals back on and teach them how to perform the skills whilst also pedaling. This course will be held over the following 4 dates with sessions between 3.15-4.15pm on each date.
