The Soul Food Gala is CUNY BLSA's annual fundraising event that raises money for the six (6) grants that will be given to students during the summer for their internships and bar-study. These grants are the Racial Justice Grant for leadership in the Black community, the Humanitarian Grant for service within the Black immigrant community, the Mental Wellness Grant, the Housing Grant for out-of-state students, and the Bar Grant for graduates sitting for the July bar exam.
