What is Summer Coding Club Summer Coding Club is a weeklong experience to learn more about a variety of coding topics and practices like programming, robotics, game design, and more. This club is designed for students who have not yet participated in our previous Coding Club experience. What Students Learn Coding Club is more exploratory than our individual classes as students are given more space to ask questions and try new things. The first four days provide more structure as we dive into specific skills or topics and the final day allows students to adopt a Passion Project to work on and build a creative outcome on their own! What Parents Gain We all want our kids to find their passion or engage in activities that stimulate their love of learning. Parents will see their children learn problem solving techniques, a drive to try something new, and gain knowledge about coding and technology that can assist them in the future. Students will also be challenged and encouraged to try new things. Schedule We'll meet each day from 9 am - 11:30 am throughout the week of June 2nd-June 6th. Each day will be focused on specific skills and tools used for coding. Passion Project allows the students to create their own project with the tools discovered throughout the week. An awards ceremony will take place at the end of the week. Who Should Take This Class Students going into grades K-2 Prerequisites : None required.
