Welcome to the Trails In Motion Film Tour 2025, presented in Fredericton by your local outdoor enthusiasts BackTrails by Radical Edge . Join us for an evening of adventure and inspiration at the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame . Get ready to witness breathtaking films showcasing the beauty of the great outdoors and stories showcasing grit, resilience, love, adventure, and joy that are deeply intertwined with the sport of trail and ultrarunning. Whether you're a seasoned trail runner, outdoor enthusiast, or just looking for some inspiration, this event is perfect for you. Your hosts for the evening are Kelsey Hogan and Adam Fearnall , trail running partners who also share a love of storytelling and films. We believe in creating opportunities for conversations on and off the trail to explore the spaces between ourselves and our emotions through trail and ultrarunning. We hope that this film screening brings us all together to laugh, cry, hope, and dream while getting excited for the running season ahead. The full film lineup will be announced the first week of April. Stay tuned for more details, including local prizes that will be up for grabs at the screening. Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with like-minded folks and spend an evening immersed in trail and ultrarunning stories. Grab your tickets now and get ready for a night full of films and fun! -- UTMB Fundraiser: Kelsey and Adam will be heading to Chamonix, France this August to compete in two races at the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc (UTMB). Kelsey will be returning for her third UTMB Mont-Blanc 176km race with big goals to improve on her 25th place finish from last year. Adam will be joining as her support crew captain, in addition to competing in his own race earlier in the week: TDS by UTMB, a 150km race which follows parts of the UTMB course and takes participants through remote alpine climbs. When you purchase your ticket for the films, you can join our "Support Crew" by adding a donation to help offset costs associated with the trip. It is totally optional, and we appreciate the many ways we receive support from the local trail running community. Thank you! Information Source: Kelsey and Adam | eventbrite

Dear Muffin Makers, We’re entering another season of “Muffin Mania” in support of those who go out in the evenings to make contact with and show love to Fredericton’s homeless population. Each Sunday night, BSBC is responsible for this important ministry. We need 3 dozen muffins for each week’s ministry. Here are the details: we’d like to avoid an over-stocking of the freezer by having just 3 dozen muffins delivered to the standing freezer in the main kitchen by SUNDAY of each week we’d ask that ‘muffin makers’ wrap each muffin individually in clingwrap or placed it in a baggie before bringing them to the church (it’s so much easier to access the frozen muffins and more sanitary to serve them when individually wrapped) please put (1) your name, (2) the date and (3) STREET MINISTRY on the bag in which you put the wrapped muffins to bring them to the freezer The love and engagement of our bakers has been a marvellous blessing to those engaged in street ministry, to us and to those who receive the ‘fruit of your labor’. Thank you for considering your participation. Your Social Action Team Information Source: Brunswick Street Baptist Church | eventbrite

A journey of loss and discovery, and a war that marked the emergence of a nation and the demise of a family. Born at a time of intense racism, and denied birthrights, Fred Lee is a remarkable story uncovered by a retired engineer intent on finding the backstory of a young Canadian who seized the only opportunity offered him. The story went national across television media ... and now it is unveiled in a short 40 minute documentary that is sure to touch the emotions of its audience young and old from coast to coast.
