Hawaa Active - Dunstable Downs Hike - Women-only hike The Dunstable Downs has spectacular views of rolling chalk grasslands and a seemingly endless sky. Look down on a breath taking landscape, sculpted over time, decorated by nature and enjoyed by generations. Stand on top of Dunstable Downs for a view that will simply take your breath away, where you will be at the highest point in Bedfordshire. Distance: 4 mile hike, great for any fitness level, fairly level walk with a gradual climb. Meeting Point: MK40 4JH Dates: Saturday, 19 July 2025 (LIMITED SPACES) Time: 10am - 5pm, exact times TBC (including travel time) Registration Fee: £15 (includes transport) Registration Closes: 03 July 2025 Fundraising Target: £100 per participant, this will provide vital hot meals for families in Gaza. In this workshop, we will explore the theme of community through warm-up activities, creative prompts, and a relaxed block of time to make mini-zines that help you reflect on the importance of connecting with others 💛 This workshop is a fundraiser for Xenia, a charity that unites women from diverse backgrounds to connect, share, and learn together. Inspired by the Ancient Greek concept of hospitality, Xenia celebrates love, respect, and cultural exchange – values we’ll embrace and explore throughout this session. You do not need any prior experience to take part (though we always do like to welcome back familiar faces!) and included with your ticket is a bespoke handmade envelope full of collage cut-outs to use on the day or take home for later. Embrace the element of chance, make new like-minded friends, join our supportive community, and most importantly – have fun delving into the zine-making process! 50% of the proceeds from this workshop will go directly towards supporting Xenia's activities in the community. You will also have the option to make an additional donation at during the checkout process. Cut Out Club is a series of collage zine-making workshops open to all experience levelswhich put community, collaboration, and creative collage exploration at its core.
