We will learn about one of the world’s most popular citizen science nature app, iNaturalist. Following a brief tutorial, we will travel along the trail and share our observations with other enthusiasts while also recording them for scientists! Participants are encouraged to download and install iNaturalist on their smartphone or tablet. Course name: Basic Life Support (BLS) Full Course (for Mackenzie Health Staff and Volunteers Only) Cost (Staff and Volunteers only): $45 This four-hour course is designed to provide basic response to medical emergencies including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), automatic external defibrillator (AED) use and choking. Cancellation/Withdrawal: Requests should be sent to professionalpractice.education@mackenziehealth.ca and will be accepted without penalty 14 days prior to your scheduled course date. No refund will be issued after this time. A minimum number of three participants is required to run a Heart and Stroke Foundation certification course.
