Featured Events in Port Perry in May, 2025 (August Updated)

We're back for our fourth year of the Mother's Day Morning Paddle (formerly the Sunrise Paddle) Join us for this 90-minute dragon boat outing. This excursion is suitable for all levels. We'll take plenty of breaks for water, snacks, and pictures. You'll also have the option of switching sides halfway through. No experience is required. We provide all the equipment (life jackets and paddles). We'll provide you with a positive space, an experienced coach/steersperson. All you have to do is wake up and get ready for a breathtaking experience. We will launch from the Port Perry waterfront and paddle north toward Seagrave. Here at the Scugog Dragon Boat Club we love all humans, and welcome people of all skills and abilities on our boat. Looking forward to seeing you on the water! The Marriage Course is designed to help couples invest and strengthen their relationship. It is for any couple regardless of their faith background or marriage status. Every married or cohabitating couple is welcomed and encouraged to attend. The course helps couples to: • Communicate more effectively • Understand each other’s needs • Resolve conflict • Recognize how upbringing affects your relationship • Develop greater sexual intimacy • And much, much more! As registration is $60 per couple, we ask that o n ly one person per couple register for The Marriage Course. Sanctus Church Port Perry is hosting The Marriage Course, beginning Friday, May 16th. This course will run for 7 weeks, every Friday from 7:00 - 9:00pm, ending on June 27th . Each session features leading experts, teaching content, and stories from around the globe. Invite your friends and neighbours to swing by our drop-in for interactive playtime and bonding in a casual, supportive atmosphere. Join us every Tuesday morning from May 6th - June 24th from 10:00am to 11:30am. Families are encouraged and welcome to come with kids above the toddler stage as well.
