Starting with the weigh-ins at 8:00 am, the doors will open at 11:00 am for spectators to witness the intense battles that await. The fights will commence at 12:00 pm, and the pre-matching process will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis prior to the event. With approximately 20 bouts anticipated, athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and compete for belts and medals. During the two-day period of the Kentucky Oaks and the Kentucky Derby, race-goers consume an astounding 125,000 Mint Juleps, requiring over 10,000 bottles of bourbon, 2,250 pounds of mint, and 475,000 pounds of shaved ice. One bourbon that holds a special place in the heart of the Kentucky Derby is Woodford Reserve, the official bourbon of the event. Since 1999, Woodford Reserve has been producing a Kentucky Derby Bottle, featuring captivating horse racing-themed art. In 2023, the bottle showcased the legendary Secretariat, commemorating the 50th anniversary of his record-setting time of 1:59.40, a record that still stands to this day. And that's not all! The event will feature a special guest, retired sportscaster Doug Ormay, who will share his insights and experiences covering an astonishing 24 Kentucky Derbys, beginning in 1986.
