In celebration of The Great Big Green Week 2025, join us at Woking library for an hour where we will take your child on an adventure of plants that will tap into a world of imagination through reading. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Join Kid and Pinto, two curious Seedologists on a quest to discover new specimens. Together they follow the journey of a mysterious new seed that has appeared in the library, observing its transformation as it travels through the four seasons. This fun, interactive adventure is inspired by nature and the world around us. Created in collaboration with children and their families in 2024, it’s an enchanting experience for all, particularly those aged 6 and under. Don’t miss this latest work from Made By Katie Green, featuring new poetry by Anna Selby, design by Hannah Green and Edel Izquierdo and music by Dougie Evans. The performance will be followed by a seed planting workshop. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The SEED tour from 2025-26 is being supported using public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England and also by Delight, Surrey Libraries, Telford and Wrekin Libraries, Northamptonshire Libraries, Dorset Council Libraries, Applause Rural Touring/Medway Library Service, Barnet Libraries, Hillingdon Libraries, Nottingham Inspire: Culture, Learning and Libraries and the Stepping into Stories Festival. An evening of light hearted conversation between Mark Billingham the creator of the bestselling Tom Thorne and Detective Miller novels, and Abir Mukherjee, award winning author of the Wyndham & Banerjee novels. Mark and Abir will talk about crime fiction and thrillers, and the arduous journey to becoming best selling novelists. There will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions and books will be on sale at the end of the session.
