Jaena Barrera is a mixed media artist that will guide attendees through paint pouring technique called the FEATHER CHAIN PULL ! This fluid art method is fun, relaxing and easy to learn, and can bring out the artist that hides deep down inside all of us. Bring your friends for a fun evening to enjoy the delicious craft brews at 105 West Brewing Company and unleash your inner artist. The $33 class fee will cover all of the supplies and basic instruction each attendee needs to complete their own 10" X 10" canvas. Your event host will also cover the first pint of beer or 6oz wine of your choice! Attendees will get to pick their own paint colors according to the method being taught. You will learn how to prep your ornaments and mix your paints to the right consistency, and finally, how to finish your canvas for you to proudly display or give as a gift. Adults and children (ages 10 and over) are welcome to attend and children under 18 must be supervised by an attending adult. You must be 21+ to purchase alcohol at this event. Note - Attendees will be taking home a wet painting that will be stabilized for moderate travel. The painting will need to continue to dry on a flat surface for up to 10 days before any finishing processes or framing can be completed. Castle Rock Jigsaw Jam is an event for puzzle enthusiasts of all ages. Build a team of up to 4 puzzlers. Participants will compete to finish a 500-piece puzzle the fastest! All teams will get to keep their competition puzzle. Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 teams. HOW IT WORKS: Doors open at 6:00pm. Check in your team and pick a table. Each team will receive the same 500-piece jigsaw puzzle. When you arrive at Inconceivable Toys & Games, the puzzles will be concealed in a bag at the center of your table. No peeking before the countdown begins! At 6:30pm sharp, your hosts will review the rules. There will be a countdown and teams will open their puzzles and race to assemble all 500 pieces. Prizes will be awarded to the top 2 teams. RULES: Teams are limited to 4 participants, but you may puzzle with fewer members. Box top holders and sorting trays (any size and quantity) are allowed You may bring recording devices or additional lighting as long as they don't need to be plugged into an outlet and do not interfere with the other competitors. Puzzle Race! Join us for our annual Puzzle Race!! This is not your average puzzle race - it's even better :). Each team will not only work together to complete their 500 piece puzzle but you will stopped throughout the event to complete simple challenges on a lottery basis (ex. read a children's book out loud, book trivia, crossword puzzle, etc) to raise the stakes and make the race even more thrilling!!
