Keynotes:
Gabriela D. Santos, Managing Director, is the Chief Market Strategist for the Americas on the Global Market Insights Strategy Team at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. In this role, Gabriela provides valuable insight and perspective on the global economy and markets to institutional and retail clients across the Americas. Gabriela’s research focuses on emerging markets, especially China. She is responsible for the development of the Guide to the Markets, Guide to China and Guide to the Markets – Latin America, amongst other publications.
Gabriela is also a frequent guest on CNBC, Bloomberg, and other financial news outlets and is often quoted in the financial press.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2012, Gabriela worked at HSBC’s Private Bank, stationed in Singapore, Switzerland and Mexico. She held various roles including banker, structured products trader and business manager.
Gabriela graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics, as well as French. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French.
Michael Mauboussin, Head of Consilient Research, Managing DIrector
Michael Mauboussin is Head of Consilient Research for Counterpoint Global. He joined Morgan Stanley in 2020 and has 39 years of investment experience. Prior to joining the firm, he was director of research at BlueMountain Capital Management, head of global financial strategies at Credit Suisse, and chief investment strategist at Legg Mason Capital Management. Additionally, Michael is an adjunct professor of finance at Columbia Business School and chairman emeritus of the board of trustees at the Santa Fe Institute. Michael earned an A.B. in government from Georgetown University.

Christopher D. Shipley, Senior Vice President, Co-CIO, Fort Wasshington Investment Advisors, Inc.
In this role, Shipley is responsible for overseeing all equity investment activity with a primary focus on setting equity investment policy and directing equity portfolio management, research, trading and risk management functions. Shipley also shares responsibility with Brendan M. White, senior vice president and co-chief investment officer, for asset allocation and macro-positioning for both Fort Washington and Western & Southern Financial Group. Shipley joined Fort Washington in 2024 and has more than 26 years of industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, he was with Northern Trust Asset Management in Chicago where he held various senior leadership positions from 2000 to 2023. Most recently, he was chief investment strategist for North America, where he chaired the Tactical Asset Allocation Committee. Prior to this position, he served as senior vice president, head of Fundamental Equities, and senior portfolio manager, where he oversaw fundamental portfolio management and equity research.Shipley earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Peter Nakada, CFA Chief Education Officer
Peter is Chief Education Officer for Stone Ridge Asset Management, a firm that provides
access to investments that are alternatives to stocks and bonds. In this role, he educates advisors & investors on the risks and returns of the Stone Ridge Funds. Throughout his career, Peter has focused on helping people use math and data to make better decisions. Before joining Stone Ridge, Peter ran the capital markets group of Risk Management Solutions (RMS), a firm that builds simulation models of earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. Prior to joining RMS, Peter was a co-founder of ERisk, a fintech firm serving regional banks, and a partner at Oliver Wyman. Outside of work, Peter serves as Chair of the Board of The Speyer Legacy School, the only independent school for gifted students in New York City. Peter has an A.B. in Engineering Sciences from Harvard College, a M.S. in Engineering Management from Stanford University, and is a CFA charterholder.
