Artificial Intelligence is a divisive topic. Some people find it intimidating, others dismiss it as a fancy chatbot. Both of them are right. AI is simultaneously the most overhyped and underestimated invention of our lifetimes. In this class, we’ll unpack the agents - what LLMs use to get things done. Early Bird Tickets: The first 10 people to register + show up get in FREE! Agents harness the power of generative AI to make decision. The old way of automating was based on rules; agents move into a world where automation can run context. As a result, they can do incredible things - draft emails, compile data, do research, and other tasks. In this class, we will cover what an agent is, what it can do, what it can't do, and how you can put them to work for you. We hope you'll join us! ------------------------------------------ This workshop is the fifth of six classes in Omega's AI series. Knoxville is best known as the Scruffy City, Go Big Orange, and being the Gateway to the Smoky Mountains. But did you know that Knoxville has a rich artistic history? On July 25, from 6-7:30 PM, local historian Jack Neely comes to Lilienthal Gallery to tell the stories of artists like the Big Seven and how they impacted not only Tennessee, but the world. Founding director of the Knoxville History Project in 2014, Jack Neely is a longtime journalist and historian who has been writing about his hometown’s character and heritage for many years. After graduating from the University of Tennessee, where he studied American history, Neely was an Egyptian museum tour guide at the 1982 World’s Fair. He has written several books about Knoxville and its history, including Historic Knoxville: The Curious Visitor’s Guide (2018) and Historic Bearden (2019), and others. He has earned numerous awards, including an honorary doctorate from Maryville College; the Outstanding Alumnus Award from the University of Tennessee’s History Department; Awards of Distinction from the East Tennessee Historical Society; and a place in the University of Tennessee Educators Hall of Honor. Artificial Intelligence is a divisive topic. Some people find it intimidating, others dismiss it as a fancy chatbot. Both of them are right. AI is simultaneously the most overhyped and underestimated invention of our lifetimes. In this class, we’ll discuss owning versus renting your AI, and how your AI usage could become an asset to your business instead of someone else's. Early Bird Tickets: The first 10 people to register + show up get in FREE! Right now, most people rent usage on an LLM with a monthly subscription. That comes with security concerns, vendor lock-in, and costs that could change any time. In the future, every business - and maybe every person - will have their own personalized LLM. Organizations that move now will have a massive advantage over businesses who don't. Come learn about the benefits and see what could move your business to the forefront of your industry. We hope you'll join us for the final and most forward-looking class in Omega's AI Series. Information Source: Omega Business Solutions | eventbrite
