The Tigers Skate Club presents, The Ambush , an all-girl, women, trans, non-binary, or gender expansive skateboarding event and community day. This fun and inclusive gathering welcomes individuals from across Canada to engage in community, take part in friendly competition and skill development in a safe environment. There will be a variety of activities from learn-to-skate workshops, skateboard art and a number of events that will range from fun and informal to a jam-format competition showcasing skills. Every registered participant will leave The Ambush with swag and a t-shirt ( shirt available only if ticket is purchased by [date extended!] August 14 before 7 pm ). Invited guests include members of women-focused and 2SLGBTQI+ skateboarding clubs from around Canada as well as athletes in the women's skateboarding scene.
