This session will last approximately 3 hours and is an in-person event designed to support
work-based and vocational tutors and assessors
. During the event we will explore best practice when using Professional Discussion (PD) as assessment method that can support high quality evidence generation. The session considers the scope, benefits, advantages, challenges that are typically associated this assessment method, including how to prepare and support learners and others for its use, and how to plan for, enable and quality assure evidence outcomes to ensure their validity, authenticity, reliability, currency and sufficiency.
