USU Extension Marathon Kids presents the Kids on the Move summer camp. Looking for a fun way to keep your child active? Then this camp is for you! This camp will be held every Tuesday in June at 9-10:30 am at the USU Extension Davis County property. Water and light snacks will be provided, but we encourage you to send your kids with sun protection and their own water. Parents can drop off their child or stick around to watch the fun! This is a 4-week program for children ages 8-12. Kids can expect to play fun games and activities that focus on increasing physical activity, learn quick tips on how we can keep our bodies healthy, and make new friends. Build a wooden nest box and learn how to support local songbird populations! This hands-on workshop includes everything you need—materials, tools, and expert instruction! You'll learn about native birds living in urban areas of Utah, where to place a nest box for success, and how to observe nesting birds responsibly without disturbing them. Enjoy light refreshments, connect with fellow nature lovers, and take home a durable nest box ready for installation.
